Application Development Guide (formerly Developer's Guide) Comments Page

The Application Development Guide explains how to create and implement Java™ Platform, Enterprise Edition (Java EE™ platform) applications that are intended to run on the Application Server. These applications follow the open Java standards model for Java EE components and APIs. The Application Development Guide includes general information about developer tools, security, and debugging.

monzillo007 Security chapter, message security section that we are using jsr 196 in the web tier to facilitate the injection of pluggable authentication modules within the servlet constraint processing engine. we should aslo describe how one goes about doing this (either here or in the admin guide). RESOLVED Added Ron's blog "Adding Authentication Mechanisms to the GlassFish Servlet Container" to the Securing Applications chapter.
